If you’re looking to start therapy, try an approach that speaks the language of your body

You’ve tried mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork…
And still:

– Anxiety shows up without warning
– You lack sleep
– You feel a knot in your throat
– You get it intellectually but you can’t really feel it
– You’re nice to everyone else but hard on yourself

It’s not for lack of trying.
It’s not that you’re lazy.
You’re nervous system just needs a different kind of connection.

Conventional therapy is about figuring things out with the mind.

The thing is that stress, worry, fear, and anxiety live in the body.

This is what you’ll find in our sessions:

Listening to anxiety through somatic awareness, not just analysing thoughts
Regulating your nervous system through interoception
Learning to befriend emotions without needing to control everything
Loosening tensions that appear out of nowhere
How to stop trying to do everything perfectly
Connecting with compassion to vulnerable parts of ourselves

Here’s how I explain it in

Clients who have benefited from a compassionate somatic approach

Mariano helps you get to know all aspects of your self, through compassionate parts work, without having to fight any of your parts, but rather by integrating them all.

Here’s me

IN A NUTSHELL

Psychologist since 2009.
I’m also a coach and yoga teacher, though I identify first and foremost as a musician and a dreamer.
Trained in Internal Family Systems by IFS-Institute USA (2024).
I sought help from therapist after therapist, most of whom minimized my symptoms and attempted to make me functional despite my suffering.
Travelled through India twice, stayed at ashrams, met gurus, got disappointed, learned from my mistakes.
Today I can finally say I trust my body’s wisdom above all else. I wish to share this wisdom because it’s what younger me would’ve needed two decades ago.

Somatic Therapist

A personal confession

I’ve been there.

I know what it’s like to see everyone else meditating quietly while my own mind is racing out of control.

I know what it’s like to lose the ability to focus for weeks on end after a particularly triggering situation.

I know what it feels like to go through life knowing the next panic attack is waiting just around the corner.

My own path began over 20 years ago and involved first and foremost, healing myself, which led to the exploration of a vast amount of spiritual and not-so-spiritual practices, with all the resulting trial and error (including two trips to India).

It took longer than I had envisioned and hurt more than I could ever have imagined, and the result is not that I am finally “healed”… but it’s that I would choose this path again if I had the choice.

Today I choose to share what I learned to transform my pain into a gift for others who need similar healing.
